2013 Nationals Wrap up
Racing was challenging and sailing conditions really enjoyable for the thirteen boats that participated in the 2013 Australian International Yngling National Championships. Hosted by Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club and sailed on the "big pond" off Scottland Island race results often came down to the last shift on the last leg.
The top three boats were seperated by only one point with the overall National title going to Hamish Jarrett, Max Hayman and Alana Bracken on AUS60 Miss Pibb. Second overall was Karyn Gojnich, Ruth McCance and Helen Impey on AUS59 Evie. Third overall was AUS25 Street Hassle sailed by Michael Nash, John Gojnich and Meredith Kennedy.
Overall awards on handicap were awarded to first Gary Wogas, Cameron Sloyey and Eddie Moult in AUS45 Karma. Runners up were Irene Doets, Callum Thompson and Callium Hindhaugh in Troika AUS27. Third place was awarded to Robyn Grosvenor and a range of crew on AUS57 Soria.
